Cowby boots for Saddle Up in Pigeon Forge 2015The Old West will come to life at the 15th Annual Saddle Up festival in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee! Who hasn’t fantasized about living the life of a cowboy or cowgirl? Well, for five days in February, visitors and locals alike can immerse themselves in cowboy songs, music and dance lessons, cook-offs, tall tales, and so much more. Read on for everything you need to know about Saddle Up in Pigeon Forge 2015.

Amazing Performers

From February 18-22, an exciting list of performers will entertain guests with a combination of fascinating storytelling and western music. Favorite musical performers including Jean and Gary Prescott, Skip Gorman, Brenn Hill, and the band Wylie and the Wild West. Saddle Up will also feature a number of excellent poets and speakers, such as Andy Nelson, Baxter Black, and Kent Rollins.

This year’s concerts, dinner dances, workshops, and other events will take place at the LeConte Center, Pottery House Cafe and Grill, Mama’s Farmhouse, Stages West, and Clabough’s Campground. We have highlighted a few of the biggest events below.

The first night’s dinner concert with Kent Rollins, Jean Prescott, and Gary Prescott will be held at Mama’s Farmhouse, a popular Pigeon Forge restaurant. The price for all of the dinner concerts is $54.88 and seating is limited, so visitors are urged to purchase their tickets as soon as possible.

Stories and Strings

Over at Stages West, a family run apparel store, several of the Saddle Up in Pigeon Forge 2015 performers will entertain with poems, stories, and cowboy songs. The store’s recently added stage provides the perfect venue and atmosphere for this Stories and Strings event. Tickets for this event and other concerts scheduled during the festival are $21.95.

The Buckaroo Roundup and the Chuck Wagon Cookoff are scheduled at Clabough’s Campground. A terrific day of cowboy activities and live entertainment will delight the crowds, all free of charge. A Chuck Wagon lunch for $12.95 a plate will be available between noon and 1:30 p.m.
