How it Works
So, how exactly does indoor skydiving work? Flyaway’s secret is a vertical wind tunnel that can reach gusts of up to 120 miles per hour! When you jump into the tunnel, the powerful wind keeps you suspended in the air, so you’ll feel just like you’re free falling.
What to Expect
First, you will attend a 20-minute training session to learn body control techniques and safety procedures. Then you will be equipped with a suit, a helmet and other safety equipment. You will be given a quick review of the basics, and then five flyers enter the tunnel with the instructor. The free fall experience lasts for 3 minutes, but various packages at Flyaway let you skydive multiple times.
Participants must be in good physical condition with no previous back or shoulder problems. If a child is under 18, they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian that is 21 or older. Height and weight should be proportionate, and small children should weigh at least 40 pounds. Children should also be mature enough to pay attention and follow instructions.
