The 24th annual Wilderness Wildlife Week is right around the corner. As one of the most popular events in Pigeon Forge, Wilderness Wildlife Week is a great way for family and friends to get together to learn all about the Great Smoky Mountains.

This year’s event will run from January 25-February 1, and will be held at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge. The 8-day experience will include over 300 indoor programs and 55 hikes through the Smoky Mountains. At the LeConte Center, there will be numerous booths set up to share information about all of the hands-on activities that are available throughout the week.
Some of the activities and courses offered include:
- Nature Photography
- The Appalachian Trail Video Presentation
- Fly Fishing in the Smokies
- Wildflower Folklore
- The Civil War in Knoxville and East Tennessee
- Everything You Wanted to Know About Mountain Lions in the Smokies
- Putting the Pigeon Back in Pigeon Forge
