Every year, popular attractions in the Smoky Mountains host New Year’s Eve events. This year is no exception, so we want to share the highlights of experiencing New Year’s Eve at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. Who wouldn’t want to spend an evening with sharks, great food and excellent music, anyway?
The Gatlinburg event, Dance with the Sharks, is a great choice for anyone looking for a family-friendly experience this holiday season. The aquarium will open at 9 p.m. and remain open until 1 a.m. for guests. Tickets are required for the event. Prices are as follows, not including tax:
- $149.99 per couple
- $79.99 per single
- $25.99 for children ages 3-17
The ticket price includes:
- Souvenir photograph for couples or families
- Heavy appetizer buffet, featuring a carving station, fruits, cheeses and desserts
- Champagne toast at midnight (for adults)
- Unlimited aquarium exploration time
Counting down the hours until midnight can be difficult, so this is a great event for kids! Families will be able to explore the aquarium throughout the evening while dancing and listening to music. To purchase tickets to New Year’s Eve at Ripley’s Aquarium, you can contact the aquarium at (865) 430-8808.
