For the fourth year in a row, Gatlinburg is showcasing the Winter Magic version of their traditional Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales. After spending a day relaxing in a Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge cabin, the event promises to boost your holiday cheer and get you ready for the holiday season.

1. Free Entertainment

The event is held each weekend, Friday and Saturday, through Christmas Eve. The performances are completely free for everyone who chooses to attend. Performances begin at 5 p.m. at The Village in Gatlinburg and at 5:30 p.m. at the Reagan Terrace Mall. As families stroll along the parkway, they will also see street performers and groups singing along to popular holiday tunes.

2. Family Fun

The entire family will love the experience of the Gatlinburg Tunes and Tales performances. Elves, Frosty, Rudolph and Ms. Claus will also show up throughout the event, but there are no specific nights or times for their arrival. Since the event starts at The Village, you can stop by the Donut Friar, and pick up some hot chocolate and warm donuts before watching the performances. Kids love having a snack while they wait for the show!

3. Holiday Spirit

If you’re looking to brighten up the holiday spirit, the Gatlinburg Tunes and Tales event is the perfect place to go! With storytellers, musicians and singers, everyone is sure to put themselves in the holiday spirit. The performances are guaranteed to warm your heart and get you ready for Christmas!
